QuorumAI

How to use QuorumAI.

QuorumAI answers questions about your crop, your program and anything in the wiki. Here's how to get good answers from it, and what it does with what you tell it.

Open QuorumAI

How to ask

  • Name the crop and where it's at. "Avocados, just past flowering" gets a better answer than "my trees".
  • Say what you're seeing. The colour, the part of the plant, how much of the block, and since when.
  • Your block goes with it. "Going by", above the box, names the block. Its stage, your last crop walk and its latest sap test go with your question, so you needn't type them in. For a soil or leaf test, give it the figures you want read, with their units.
  • Ask one thing at a time, then follow it up. It reads the conversation so far.
  • Check the sources under each answer. Each one opens the page it came from.

Not happy with an answer? Ask it again, or change your last question. You can stop an answer on its way, too.

Where to find it

  • On the Ask page, or full screen, where your conversations are kept.
  • Beside any page of the hub. Tap Ask QuorumAI, and it opens the same chat beside the page.
  • In the program builder. It can draft the whole season's program, going by the checks, your stages, your sap tests and what's in your shed. You see the draft first, and choose to use it or leave it.

What it answers from

The wiki, your program and the Course as it's written. Every answer shows which.

Where those don't settle it, QuorumAI still helps, but tells you it's an option or a best guess, never a known fact.

It doesn't search the internet, and it can't see your crop or your photos, so tell it what you see. It gives general information, not advice for your farm.

What it remembers

Mention something lasting about your farm, and an answer may ask: Remember it? Nothing's kept unless you tap Remember. In the Memory panel you can see everything it remembers, change it, forget any of it, or switch memory off.

Your conversations, what it remembers and your notes stay in this browser, on this device. On another phone or computer, you start fresh.

Each question takes with it the conversation so far, what it remembers, the notes you've let it read, and your block: its stage, your last crop walk and its latest sap test. You can switch off memory and the block, and choose which notes it may read. The privacy page says where it goes.

How many questions

There's a limit on answers in a day, counted over the last 24 hours. If you reach it, QuorumAI tells you when your next one's back.

When you're stuck

Some questions want a person. When QuorumAI can't settle one, it offers "Send it to Steve" under the answer. You'll get a reply by email within the week: from Steve, or from Adam where Steve can't. You can send one any time from Ask Steve, in the hub's menu.

And if things are getting on top of you, say so. QuorumAI will point you to support, and you can always write to us, the Quorum Ag team, on the Contact page. We'd be glad to talk.
